I figured I might as well open a thread here. I will post images and information as it becomes relevant or worth posting. I will also answer questions about Cry of the Phoenix' setting here... if anyone really wants to ask them. Unless the answer might result in spoiler information.

Anyhooo....

This is some lineart of Ashanni, where I drew her a wee bit too short. Now she isn't supposed to be tall to begin with, but her porportions are off. Or maybe it's because her breasts look too large? Ashanni is not supposed to be a thin, delicate build, even if I made the error of making her appear as such.

And I wonder if I should be a pain and change her outfit every episode? Ha ha ha, first she had the white strapless dress, then those ugly orange robes (seriously, I hate the colour orange), and in the upcoming third chapter she has a fur cape, furlined boots, a leather vest or sorts, and otherwise loose baggy top and bottoms.

LOL. Do it, change her outfit every episode! If designing outfits is something you enjoy, then I say go for it. (Just make sure you can come up with a reasonable excuse for her to be changing clothes that much, I suppose! )

Ha ha ha, that would likely get tedious. I think I'll jstu change them as it becomes reasonable to do so.

I meant to work on Kamishibai.

I had an accident.

It ended up purdy.

Now we have a good close-up of Ashanni. She's got a slight Sarah Michelle-Geller (or whatever the hell her name is) nose.

OMG! That shot of Ashanni is GORGEOUS! You've got to use that somehow, like as a promotional shot or episode title card or something. Really awesome job there! :<3: :<3: :<3:

While it might make for a new title card, there really isn't any space for text without it looking scatteredm squished, or obscuring the picture. Unless the text fades onto the image. Ho hum.

I might just have it as the preview image for when uploading it to DA.

Or just slap it in at the end during author comments instead of an image of myself heh heh.

But most likely it will just get shoved into a 'bonus' folder.

As you can see I don't take this project (or myself) too seriously.
